I hope you had a Happy New Year.

I took some time off to read and just consume content for my Second Brain. This content was consumed on the bike, off the bike, and well.. that’s about the only places I’ve been.

During these few weeks, I spun up a website where I can share longer-form essays. But don’t worry. The Lean Letter and Saturday Object Saturday will still be here.

2023 will be a big year for my writing.

Welcome back to Shiny Object Saturday.

I dug through the mud and found shiny objects, so you don’t have to get your hands dirty.

Here are my favorite diamonds of the week.

1. Selling an AI Business in 48 Hours

This is a different showing of the first 48. Shawn built a WordPress site strictly through ChatGPT prompts, connected it to OpenAI’s API, launched it, and sold it for $10,000 (and a bologna sandwich) within 48 hours.

2. Ring Drone

A ring camera that guards your house? What could go wrong? This is just the MVP. Imagine when they scale this to be armed with a sub-machine gun.

3. The Corporate Politics Battle

Who do you think won the battle? Looks like all of them. 🤣

4. Google Maps 360

As someone who is the biggest Type A planner you will ever meet, I love this idea. I also keep thinking about business opportunities here if you have a drone.
